David J. Calkins
Regional Managing Principal
David is the Regional Managing Principal of Gensler’s Asia Pacific and Middle East (APME) region. He leads the senior management team in setting strategic priorities and oversees growth initiatives and client activities in APME. An award-winning architect with a highly valued combination of experience in strategic planning and design across a variety of Practice Areas, David is also a member of Gensler’s Management Committee. Gensler has seen many achievements under his helm across the technology, science, hospitality, housing, retail, and office building practices. David is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows, Singapore Institute of Architects as well as the William Ward Watkin Dean’s Council of Rice School of Architecture.
